COVID - 19

Welcoming you back to Los Alamitos Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy

Dear Patient,

As you may know, our clinic temporarily closed at the end of March with a goal of flattening the curve. We have been busy implementing various protective measures and protocol to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff. As we look to reopen safely, we aim to ease any concerns you may have regarding COVID-19. The following are details to the safety measures we have implemented.

Our Updated Safety Measures and Precautions

Universal Masking

Our staff are wearing masks and gloves to help protect ourselves and you. We are also expecting patients to wear a mask during treatment in order to protect us from airborne transmission. We suggest patients wear gloves as well, if possible. If you do not wear a mask, we will be unable to treat you.

Social Distancing

We are adhering to the social distancing six foot guideline, and have altered our lobby, treatment area and patient spacing within the treatment area.

Screening Measures

We ask patients that are sick, experiencing a cough and/or fever to please stay home until you are better. Likewise, any staff with symptoms of illness are asked to stay home until healthy. Furthermore, we are able to take temperature digitally and administer a screening questionnaire before treatment.

Our staff rigorously sanitizes all equipment and bedding used in between patients and disinfects the clinic at the end of everyday. We regularly sanitize common areas and frequently touched handles and surfaces throughout the clinic.

Telehealth Virtual Visits

Andy Einhorn has been offering telehealth appointments through Insig Virtual Care for more at-risk patients. Call us at (562) 431-6004 for more information.

Due to an abundance of caution as well as adherence to Governor Newsom's stay-at-home directive, Los Alamitos Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy will be closed for at least the next 2 weeks effective as of Friday 03/20/2020. Please check our website for the latest updates.
